Italian Stuffed Bell Peppers

Description:

These colorful bell peppers are filled with a savory mixture of ground beef, rice, and Italian herbs, then baked to perfection.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 250g ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Peppers: Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds. Boil in water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. Cook the Filling: In a pan, brown ground beef with onions. Add rice, marinara sauce, and oregano.
  3. Stuff and Bake: Stuff the bell peppers with the mixture, top with mozzarella cheese, and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes.
